La Capitana
OPENING 2027
Country and coast are close friends in this part of Tuscany. A historic farm estate producing wine, olive oil and vegetables, La Capitana centres on an 18th-century manor house of solid, weathered beauty, one that enjoys unparalleled views over Argentario and the Tuscan Archipelago. Set to reopen after a renovation in 2027, it will become the handsome rural sister of Miramis’ seaside properties, offering restorative breaks in an unspoiled natural setting.
Miramis acquired the property in 2022 and spent time tuning into its unique spirit of place before starting to plan a renovation which is due to be completed in 2027.
La Capitana will remain a blissful refuge for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature in one of the most authentic corners of Tuscany. Without losing its rustic charm, it will be upgraded to guarantee an exceptional and memorable guest experience.
A vast range of hiking, biking and horse-riding opportunities enhance the allure of a property that is well-suited to host special events and celebrations.
On arrival, it’s the view that stops you in your tracks. Roving across rolling Tuscan hills, the eye reaches as far as Argentario, underlining the bond between this age-old farm estate and its sister properties on the coast. The swimming pool in the garden overlooks the estate’s scenic vineyards and olive groves.

PORTO ERCOLE
Ex Cirio
Opened in 1926, the former Cirio factory specialised in sardine and anchovy canning. For much of the 20th century, it was Porto Ercole's chief employer, and even after decades of abandonment, stands as a proud reminder of the Tuscan port town’s industrial heritage. Now it is soon to begin a new chapter. The architecturally striking wellness resort and culinary magnet that is due to be unveiled here in 2029 will respect both the low, shore-hugging lines of its surroundings and its symbiosis with the town.
