Ex Cirio
Project Pipeline
Opened in 1926, the former Cirio factory specialised in sardine and anchovy canning. For much of the 20th century, it was Porto Ercole's chief employer, and even after decades of abandonment, stands as a proud reminder of the Tuscan port town’s industrial heritage. Now it is soon to begin a new chapter. The architecturally striking wellness resort and culinary magnet will respect both the low, shore-hugging lines of its surroundings and its symbiosis with the town.
The resort that will take the place of the former factory has been designed by Florentine architect Marco Casamonti, celebrated for his bold Antinori winery project in Chianti and the restyling of his home city’s vibrant Mercato Centrale. Casamonti’s vision for Ex Cirio will bring bold, contemporary lines to the harbourside view, while fully respecting the long, low volumes of the original building.
Miramis’ third property to open in Porto Ercole will feature verdant gardens, a rooftop pool, and a scenic restaurant that celebrates local culinary traditions and produce. The hotel will offer one of Italy’s most ambitious wellness centres, with a full-service spa inspired by Tuscan natural remedies alongside yoga studios, fitness areas, and tranquil areas for relaxation.
The new property is set to become a hospitality beacon on the Argentario coast, blending the region's rich history with a modern, refined guest experience.

PORTO ERCOLE
Isolotto Beach Club
The Tuscan coast is peppered with beach clubs and bathing establishments, but few have the cachet of this exclusive enclave. Set on and above a pristine Argentario beach of sand and rocks, in a wild cove protected by the small, uninhabited island whose name it bears, Isolotto proves that nothing is as perfect as nature's simplicity. A sunbathe, a swim, a chilled drink, a plate of oysters, a seafood salad: of such things is paradise made.
