Bar Manager at Cirkus, Stockholm — On energy, flow, and the craft behind the bar.

In the bar, everything begins with people — even if it is not always visible. It’s in the rhythm of service, in the exchange between colleagues, and in how a guest is welcomed and understood.

At Cirkus, the pace is constantly shifting. Concerts, galas, conferences — each evening brings a new context. That variation defines the work, where energy and precision meet in every service.

I started here almost by coincidence, helping a friend behind the bar. Years later, I returned — now leading the team, with a deeper understanding of both the craft and the culture.

“Making the guest feel seen is everything
it’s in the details, the timing, and the ability to adapt without overdoing it.”

People, flow and performance

A strong team is built over time, through shared experience and collaboration. Behind every service is preparation and constant communication — often unspoken, shaped through timing and intuition.

My role is to create the conditions for the team to perform, together and consistently. Djurgården adds its own atmosphere — something that shapes both the work and the experience.

In the end, it’s about the feeling a guest leaves with — an evening that felt effortless and worth returning to.

Craft and guest experience

For me, food and drink should be balanced and well considered. You should feel the quality without needing an explanation.

A memorable experience is built through consistency — reading the moment and adapting naturally to each guest.

Behind the scenes, preparation and planning are everything. When it all comes together, the experience feels simple. That’s the goal — something that stays with the guest, even if the details don’t.
