After success in the West End and on Broadway, & Juliet arrives in Stockholm. The production is built around the music of Max Martin and presents a reimagined version of Shakespeare’s story.
This staging at Cirkus marks a significant moment for the show.

“This is the first non-replica production of & Juliet in the world.”

The show & setting
& Juliet asks what would happen if Juliet chose a different ending. The musical features songs by Max Martin and has been performed internationally, including in London’s West End and on Broadway.
The Stockholm production presents a new version of the show, rather than replicating previous stagings. It introduces a different interpretation adapted to the venue and audience.
Cirkus, one of Stockholm’s most established performance venues, provides the setting for the production, contributing to the atmosphere and overall experience.

A return, of sorts
The music in & Juliet is closely connected to Stockholm, where much of Max Martin’s work was created.
The arrival of the production in Stockholm therefore carries a particular significance, bringing the show to the place where its musical foundation was formed.
